I am a 1998 graduate of the dental hygiene program at College Edouard Montpetit in Longueuil, Quebec. I grew up in Montreal and its suburbs. I enjoyed school, teaching, downhill skiing and working as a rafting guide.
After graduating, I spent the next 6 years being young! First I moved to BC, worked for a rafting company and discovered skiing in the Rockies. I also did some travelling to a few countries in Central America and South East Asia.
In 2001, my partner and I were travelling to India and met a couple of Canadians living in Whitehorse. They described the Yukon to us and we decided to check it out on our return to Canada. We settled shortly after in Whitehorse, started a family and in 2004 I started my career.
I have been actively working as a dental hygienist for the past 12 years and still enjoy coming to work every day. I take pride in delivering high quality treatment to all my clients. I am thorough and very patient.
I understand that for a quite a few people spending time in a dental chair is not something they look forward to. I always do my best to make every visit personable and comfortable. Communication is also very important for me. I make sure to keep my clients informed of the status of their oral health and make recommendations to improve when needed. Also, good communication within the dental team is primordial to render high quality services and follow up.
I enjoy working at Riverstone Dental. We have a great team, state of the art technology, a nice ambiance, a beautiful decor and it's conveniently located. For me, it's a great place to work, and I’ll be happy to welcome you!
